Being a playwright I am more familiar with the concept of 'royalties' than 'hourly rate' charges. Therefore the cost of building a web site is a 'Royalty Fee' for use of the page(s) created - this bases the price on the completed product rather than a per hour charge.
The final 'royalty' is based on the various elements involved in the creation of a site. What follows is a listing of some of the basic considerations involved in determining the final fee.
To get an estimate of the charge for your site, you need to submit information as to what you to have on your pages. As explained below, the length of pages, number of original graphics/photos, digitalization &/or corrections to existing graphics/photos and other elements all contribute to the final royalty charge.
At the bottom of this page you will find a link to a 'sample' site along with the 'Royalty' fee. This will give you an idea of the charge for a simple three page site.
