OVERVIEW

Of the many years that I was actively involved in theatre production, twelve were spent working with community theares in North Carolina (Piedmont Players Community Theatre/Platypus Productions & The Edenton Little Theatre), Pennsylvania (The Harrisburg Community Theatre & The Little Theatre Of Mechanicsburg) and South Carolina (The Florence Little Theatre/Florence Workshop Theatre).

My position and responsibilities covered a fairly wide range depending on the theatre and the circumstances.

While I enjoyed seeing my designs and direction "come to life" on stage, perhaps my greatest thrill was seeing my own original plays performed. Of the eight scripts I authored, four of them were performed (in some cases premiered) at the theatres where I was working.

I will always remember the experience of having worked in Community Theatre. The good memories (with time) outweigh the headaches. Most of all, however, I'll always remember the great people I met and the good friends I made!
